E. Cuypers – Villa Alsberg / Holland

Villa Alsberg has a central location in Amsterdam South, directly on the Museumplein. The villa was constructed during the 19th century, and is a national monument since 1904.

The building’s architecture is by Edward Cuypers, cousin of the well-known dutch architect Pierre Cuypers, who’s architectural spirit lies – in the nearby area – with the Amsterdam’s central station and the Rijksmuseum.
